A latent sun Which late had risen Seeping through the mistDissipated and weak in appreciation An embodiment Of apologetic proportion Lack lustre in warmthThrough which a murmurationOf starlings flew In laminar flow across The far western skyIn mesmerising contorted patternTheatrical synchronisationAbove the Slapton Line.
